#23 ‘spring forth, soups! / soupes prennent temps!’

Hi & Bonjour!

This 6th line comes to mind, especially for the equinox, but actually, every day:
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday;this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any–lifted from the no
of all nothing–human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
~ e. e. cummings
Je connais pas de poetes francophones qui parle du printemps. Partage-tu ses mots avec nous si t’en a un?
One soup (#41) will have celery & WILD rice in it. (http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/chunky-celery-soup-recipe.html)
One soup (#42) will have lots of cauliFLOWERS in it. (recipe to be determined…any ideas?)
Il y aura une soup (#41) avec beaucoup de chouFLEUR.
Il y aura une soupe (#42) avec celeri & riz SAUVAGES
A few notes/ QQ notes:
– EVEN(EMEN)T Deep (breath baking) <– check it out and feel free to bring a loaf to soup night yo.
– CHAN(SON)T of sort Shallow (dub aching) ❤ JN
– IDE(E)A Weekend (Bike Beaver-laking?) ❤ MTL
What I am wondering, lately, is why the city (and so many institutions) plant these wimpy, ugly, aroma-less, foreign perennials instead of lovely, hearty useful native annuals (like echinacea or bee balm or a million others).
Pourquoi ne cultivons-nous pas des fleurs qui vont durer, qui peuvent etre tisanes, qui ne doivent etre plantees qu’une seule fois?
Farewell & with floral-will,
